An Evening of Movies and Musicals will come to London's Apollo Victoria Dec. 1 for one night only, starring Louise Dearman and John Owen-Jones. Presented by M&M Associate Productions Ltd., it debuted in early 2012 with a concert at Cardiff's St. Davids Hall. Dearman and Owen-Jones will be joined by the West End Gospel Choir and musical actress Sarah Lark, a finalist on the BBC talent show "I'd Do Anything" to star in Oliver! in the West End. The evening will be hosted by actor and presenter Christopher Biggins.
Dearman is the only performer so far to have played both leading roles of Glinda and Elphaba in the West End's Wicked. She has also appeared in Guys and Dolls, Jekyll and Hyde and Evita for U.K. national tours.
Owen-Jones has starred in the West End as Jean Valjean in Les Miserables (also Broadway) and the title role in The Phantom of the Opera (which he recently reprised on a U.K. national tour, also appearing in the Broadway gala performance that marked its 25th year in New York). He has released two solo albums.

Kimberley Walsh from Girls Aloud invited Louise to record a track with her for her new album that's released next year. They got on like a house on fire - watch this space to hear what the song was!

To celebrate Louise's return to Oz on Monday 29th October, a Wicked Edition version of her album has been created with brand new green booklet and an exclusive version of "Defying Gravity". There's also a hidden moment after "Kissing You".
You will only be able to purchase the album though from the Apollo Victoria theatre, Louise's own shop on this website and Dress Circle Record store in Covent Garden.
Wicked, the smash hit West End musical, is proud to announce that Louise Dearman, who played Glinda to huge acclaim from March 2010 to December 2011, will return to star as Elphaba from Monday 29 October 2012. It is the first time that a leading lady will have starred in both roles in the nearly decade-long history of the global musical phenomenon.
Louise Dearman commented: "As an actress, you strive to challenge yourself to play as many diverse roles as possible throughout your career, and right now I feel like the luckiest girl in the history of musical theatre. I still can't quite believe that in two months' time I'll be back in Wicked, but this time I won't come and go by Bubble, I'll be on a broomstick"!
UK Executive Producer Michael McCabe said: "From her wonderful performance as Glinda, audiences already know that Louise possesses a stunning voice and remarkable acting abilities, so we are genuinely excited to now welcome her back to Wicked as Elphaba. We have all been awestruck by the way Louise has channelled her incredible talents to inhabit this iconic role, and I've no doubt that audiences will be equally thrilled". The multi award-winning Wicked has already been seen by over 4.5 million people since its West End premiere in 2006 at the Apollo Victoria Theatre. It is now one of the Top 20 longest-running musicals in West End history.
Louise will be performing at Manchester Pride this year supporting Steps on the Friday night and then again on the Monday night for the Vigil with Alison Moyet.
Louise will be taking part in the searchforatwitterstar competition on July 9th. The competition will culminate in a live performance at London’s Lyric Theatre on 9 July, accompanied by a live orchestra and judged by a panel of industry experts including me, casting director Anne Vosser, agent Gemma Lowy-Hamilton and musical director Mike Dixon. Unusually for a West End show, the audience will be actively encouraged to keep their phones on and tweet throughout the performance..
